Are you leading a group and wondering if you're doing it right?

You said yes to leading a group. That's a big deal. It's normal to feel like you're supposed to have all the answers. You don't, and that's okay.

Your job is to make a space where people are known. A simple plan and a clear next step matter more than being perfect.

Three things you can do this week
1
Write a one-page plan for your night
Welcome, one easy icebreaker, three to five questions, prayer, and the next date. After you ask a question, give people a moment. Count to ten in your head.
2
Pick three names
Pray for each person by name, then send each of them a quick text.
3
Look at your invite through a guest's eyes
Could someone new figure out when, where and what to expect in under a minute? Fix anything that's missing.

Picture driving home from group night knowing people felt welcome, heard and cared for.
